Death Becomes Her (pesky’apostrophe)

Terminal patients want to get into drug trials to potentially cure them or extend their lives, right? And the government is saying their chief concern is to protect the terminally ill. Well…if I have terminal cancer and I’ve got six months to live, I’m going to die regardless of whether or not I take an experimental drug. What’s the government trying to protect me from – dying sooner rather than later? If I’m already dying, what the hell do I care if I grow a horn or have liver failure from the meds?
