Fish is the single most important food for good health, a review of studies from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston reveals. Approximately 2 grams of omega-3 fatty acids from oily fish weekly cut the risk of dying from heart disease by 36 percent. And fish oil reduced death from other disease by 17 percent. Shoot for at least two servings of low-mercury fish a week.

I’ve been totally bulking up on fish. In fact, I’ve been craving it almost daily the last month or two. I’m hopefully ahead of the game for once.

Yes, while fish is a good food it used to be a lot better than it is today. Unfortunately the governments of the world have allowed our waterways to become polluted toxic dumps. Most fish are so filled with mercury that the health benefits are starting to be voided out from the risk of mercury poisoning.
Interesting study. Considering that heart disease runs in my family, I really need to think about adding more fish to my diet.
