Since it was suggested I start flavoring my water to help me drink more of it, I spent some time on the water and soft drink aisles checking out the possibilities. Crystal Light had been suggested but I’m supposed to be avoiding Aspartame, so I ruled that out right away. In fact, I had to rule out most of the mixes because either they had sugar or Aspartame.
But I lucked out, there actually is a drink mix out there made with Splenda and packaged for individual servings — Totally Light 2 Go. The store had about six or eight flavors available and I came home with Just Apple, Cranberry Pomegranate, and Lemonade. They’re 0 Calories, very low sodium, and high in Vitamin C. They are meant to be poured into a 16.9 fl oz or 20 oz bottle of water and then you just shake to mix. There are 20 packets per box.
I expected the flavor to be a little more watered down than it is. It’s quite tasty and it’s much easier to drink than plain water.

Good to know. I like flavored water (I like regular water alright too), but I also don’t want to get more aspartame than I already get with my random diet sodas, so a splenda-based one sounds great!
Yum! I’ll have to give those a try. The Cranberry Pomegranate sounds really refreshing…
